# Introduction

This privacy statement applies to any processing of personal data in DNV’s desktop and web products.

Personal data shall mean any information relating to an individual who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, or an online identifier.

Processing shall mean any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, alignment, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

Desktop and web products shall mean OneCompute.

# Data Collected and Used

Currently nothing, beyond personal data like name and e-mail address.

This is received from Veracity as our IdP (identity provider), when registering for the first time.

# Purpose of Collection of Personal Data

To be able to assign access rights and track submission of jobs etc.

# Retaining Period

The personal data is kept as long as the user exists in the product.

When a user is deleted, only the internal user ID will be retained for certain status keeping purposes.

Before collecting any product analytics and usage data, we will provide you with accurate and specific information about the data we track and its purpose.

Consent will be obtained before initiating data collection in the future, except for strictly necessary data such as session IDs.
